Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers help clients achieve a more youthful appearance by restoring volume, smoothing wrinkles and facial contours.

Dermal fillers are commonly used to fill in eye wrinkles, plump lips, add volume to sagging cheeks, and reduce lines underneath the eyes, serving to refresh your face, and reduce the visible signs that come with older age.

Our skilful cosmetic aestheticians draw on years of experience to produce natural-looking results, simply sustaining your natural features.

BENEFITS OF DERMAL FILLER

  • 1. Immediate results

As dermal filler settles under the skin, the full effect is visible in a matter of days. Whether you're adding volume or smoothing wrinkles, this will show up within days.

  • 2. Less invasive

Play it safe with dermal filler as non-surgical treatments are less invasive, meaning fewer risks. You don't need to worry about surgical complications, like infection or scarring.

  • 3. Tailor-Made for You

Non-surgical treatments can be customised to your needs. Whether you want to address one concern or go for a full-face rejuvenation, the choice is yours.

Before the injection, the targeted areas will be cleaned to reduce risk of infection. A topical anaesthetic may be applied to minimise any discomfort.

3. Injection

Dermal fillers will be injected into the planned areas to achieve the desired results.

These injections are carefully administered to ensure the best results are achieved.

4. Final Touches and Aftercare

Post procedure, instructions will be provided on how to care for your face and what to expect during the recovery period.

FAQs

Results become evident after 3-5 days. There is no downtime and you will be able to wear makeup and return to work immediately after your appointment.

There is no downtime required and you can resume normal activities immediately. However, avoid the following for 24 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise
  • Consumption of alcohol

It is also recommended to avoid the following for two weeks:

  • Extended exposure to sun or uv light
  • Extended exposure to heat or freezing temperatures

Exposure to any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection sites. We recommend using sunscreen with SPF 30 to prevent sun damage to the skin.

The injections themselves feel like a slight pinch, and you may experience slight pressure or a ‘stinging’ sensation as the product is being injected. All dermal filler treatments contain local anaesthetic.

Longevity depends on many factors, including the individual’s skin type, skin condition, lifestyle and age – as well as the type and amount of product used.

After the initial treatment, follow-up sessions are normally recommended around every 6 to 12 months depending on the individual and the product used.

Dermal fillers are smooth injectable gels, made from a substance (which naturally occurs in our skin and joints to hydrate and lubricate) that are placed beneath the skin’s surface to restore volume, correct static wrinkles and folds and erase fine lines, whilst providing the skin with volume, support and hydration.

Dermal filler injections are not suitable for:

  • People with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding mums
  • Clients under the age of 18
