THE PROCEDURE: WHAT TO EXPECT

Before the injection, the targeted areas will be cleaned to reduce risk of infection. A topical anaesthetic may be applied to minimise any discomfort.

3. Injection

The wrinkle reduction product will be injected into the planned areas to achieve the desired results.

4. Final Touches and Aftercare

Most clients see results after 2-4 weeks.

Results last 3-4 months on average, and sometimes up to 6 months. This may change according to the area being treated, the dosage and the individual response to the neurotoxin.

Minimal pain is generally associated with wrinkle reduction treatments, however if you are concerned about this, make sure you bring this up with your cosmetic aesthetician during your consultation.

Wrinkles form as a result of over-contraction and enlargement of the muscles over time. Neurotoxins work by decreasing muscle contractions, which leads to the shrinkage of those muscles. This results in reduced wrinkles and a refreshed appearance.
